Things that I am up to.

What am I up to lately? Ummm. This is a journal to myself that I am really going to focus and knock off this 55lbs that I need to loose. I have always been a skinny kid and pretty much a skinny adult. I know I can get back to size 8; I know it, I know it, I know it. I am pushing a size 16 right now. But I fit it well ;-0 .........When I moved back to California (from Las Vegas) in 2005 for my job promotion/transfer I was 150lbs and a size 8. I was HOT !!!!!!!! ................So, I am not going to become a gym rat like I did, I am not going to count how many carrots that I ate like I did, I am not going to drink black coffee to supress my appetite like I did. I am simply going to do my aerobics, my cardio, and low-carb meals and that will knock off 20-30 lbs in a month. I have done it 2-3 times before. But, my goal is 15lbs off by February 10th. I am not going to overwork myself to 20-30lbs in 30-days. I am nearly 6feet tall, so the 15lbs will proably make me a size 14........I was 220lbs on Thursday , I weighed myself today (I shouldn't have) and I am 217........I have a treadmill in my living room and I have ExcerciseTV on demand................Ok, on my mark, get set, goooooooooooooooooooo.

Other things that I am up to, I am still on a card making binge, I am probably going to go back to school, I have my eyes on CTU - Colorado Tech University. It was Ashford but CTU includes books with tuition costs, and they will take my first degree in as a whole. Ashford takes 99 units, but all in all I think CTU is the best value because there is no way that I can afford ANY out of pocket expenses. I am a laid-off, unemployed, scrappin, cardmakin', loosing weight mama!

  1. Yippppeee!!! FYI-Drinking coffee is what the trainer told me to make me poop! hahahaa! Not only does it make you not hungry.....hmmm. Way to go for you and school...the books is the one thing I wish I would have done a little more research on. I am so glad you finally blogged on your blog. I love it!
